MSDS报告办理用途-海运需要MSDS吗

　　msds的英文全称为material safety data sheet--直译为“材料安全数据表”。

　　由于化学品运输基本都需要提供msds报告，msds报告基本都是针对化学品的，因此也叫做“化学品安全技术说明书”或“化学品安全说明书”或“化学品安全数据说明书”叫法不同，实质一样。

　　一份完整的msds都说了什么?

　　msds实际上是一份全面的技术性说明书，侧重于危害提示和安全操作指引，主要包含如下16项内容:

　　section 1:chemical product and company identification--化学品及企业标识

　　section 2:information on hazardous ingredients--成分信息

　　section 3:hazard identification--危害识别信息

　　section 4:first aid measures--急救措施

　　section 5:fire fighting measures--消防措施

　　section 6:a ccidental release measures--意外泄露处置措施

　　section 7:handling and storage--操作处置与储存

　　section 8:exposure control/personal protection--接触控制与个体防护

　　section 9:physical and chemical properties--物理化学性质

　　货物海运是否需要做msds呢?

　　也许是因为化工品等空运时都需要提供《航空运输条件鉴别报告书》identification and classification report for air transport of goods，俗称空运鉴定或鉴定，但是海运没有类似这种鉴定，所以就要通过msds来判断是否适合海运和采用何种适当的方式，以确保运输安全。而航空货物运输因为有《航空运输条件鉴别报告书》，就没必要再提供msds了。

　　msds报告主要用途是什么?

　　对于特定货物出口订舱时，承运人(船公司)会要求提供msds，清关时可能也需要提供，国外客户可能也会要求提供。

　　其实，所有接触到或可能接触到此货物的人(包括场站/仓库人员，装卸搬运的人等)都需要msds
